    Crown Prince, EU Council president discuss regional developments in Jeddah

    JEDDAH — Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman met with European Council President Antonio Costa in Jeddah on Tuesday to review Saudi-EU relations and regional developments.

    The meeting focused on the strategic partnership between Saudi Arabia and the European Union, as well as ongoing developments in the region and their security and economic implications at the international level.

    The two sides also discussed coordination efforts aimed at enhancing security and stability.

    The meeting was attended by Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and Minister of State and National Security Adviser Musaed Al-Aiban, along with Saudi Ambassador to the EU Haifa Al-Jedea.

    From the European side, EU Ambassador Christophe Farnaud, senior foreign policy adviser Anna Maria Bura, EU Special Representative for the Gulf and the Middle East peace process Luigi Di Maio, and other officials were present.
