RIYADH —The Federation of Saudi Chambers has launched its new strategy for the period 2026–2030, marking a transformative step aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of the private sector and improving the efficiency of the business ecosystem. This initiative reinforces the Federation’s role as a key partner in achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

The strategy constitutes a comprehensive framework for advancing the Federation’s role as a national entity that empowers the private sector, unifies its voice, and maximizes its contribution to the national economy through an institutional model grounded in efficiency, sustainability, and integration.

It is built upon three principal pillars: strengthening the representation of the private sector’s shared interests, empowering and enhancing the efficiency of chambers of commerce, and promoting governance, institutional excellence, and sustainability.

From these pillars emerge ten strategic objectives, supported by 22 executive initiatives. Together, they focus on elevating institutional and operational efficiency, fostering greater integration among chambers of commerce, expanding partnerships at both local and international levels, and supporting export growth, investment attraction, and the development of trade exchange.

Abdullah Saleh Kamel, chairman of the Board of Directors of the federation, affirmed that the launch of the strategy aligns with national directives to strengthen the role of the private sector. He described it as a qualitative leap in empowering chambers of commerce and the broader business community to keep pace with ongoing economic transformations and to enhance their presence locally and internationally.

He further noted that these directives are expected to positively influence investment growth and the expansion of economic activities, thereby contributing to the achievement of comprehensive development goals.

Kamel emphasized that the strategy was developed through a rigorous scientific methodology, encompassing an analysis of the current landscape, a review of international best practices, and active engagement with stakeholders. This approach is designed to improve the ability to address challenges, reinforce institutional sustainability, and deliver tangible impact.

The strategy is guided by a vision to build a prosperous and competitive economy driven by an active private sector, supported by a federation that promotes integration and cultivates an attractive business environment. Its mission centers on empowering chambers of commerce and the business sector while strengthening their influence at both the domestic and international levels.

This strategy is introduced in recognition of the federation’s pivotal role in advancing economic transformation, coinciding with Saudi Vision 2030 entering its third phase of implementation—focused on maximizing achievements and enhancing sustainability through increased private sector contribution.

It is expected to further solidify the federation’s position as a national reference for the private sector, serving as a unified voice that reflects its aspirations and as an active partner in shaping economic policies and decision-making.
