ABU DHABI, 7th May, 2026 (WAM) — The UAE Football Association, chaired by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, has affirmed its full support for Gianni Infantino’s candidacy for the presidency of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) for the new electoral term 2027–2031.

In a press statement issued today, the UAE Football Association said that this support stems from the significant successes achieved by Infantino during the past period, which witnessed remarkable development in football at various technical and organisational levels, including regulations, laws, and tournaments, in addition to his distinguished relations with member national associations.
