AUSTIN, Texas — Saudi Arabia national football team launched the final phase of their preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup on Monday, holding their first training session in Austin, Texas.

The Green Falcons trained at the facilities of Austin FC under the supervision of head coach Georgios Donis as preparations intensified ahead of the tournament.

Players were divided into two groups during the session, with those who started in Saudi Arabia’s recent friendly against Ecuador national football team undergoing recovery exercises in the gym and on the pitch.

The remaining players completed a full training session that began with warm-up drills before moving into possession-based exercises and tactical work.

The camp in Texas forms part of the fourth and final stage of Saudi Arabia’s World Cup preparation program as the team fine-tunes its plans ahead of the tournament in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Nawaf Al Aqidi continued his individualized rehabilitation program under the supervision of the national team’s medical staff.

Saudi Arabia arrived in the United States earlier this week following a farewell ceremony in Riyadh.
