YANBU — Search and rescue teams from the Border Guard in the Yanbu governorate in the Madinah region rescued two Saudi citizens after their vessel broke down at sea. The Border Guard team provided them with the necessary assistance.
The General Directorate of the Border Guard urged the public to adhere to maritime safety guidelines and ensure the seaworthiness of vessels before setting sail. They also advised to contact 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, and the Eastern Province and 994 in the rest of the Kingdom, to request assistance in emergencies.
