Fakeeh Care Group has completed the acquisition of Dr. Mohammad bin Rashid Al Fagih & Partners Company, the owner of Dr. Mohammad Al Fagih Hospital located on King Abdullah Road in eastern Riyadh. This strategic move enhances the Group’s presence in the capital and expands its healthcare network across the Kingdom.
This acquisition comes as an extension of the Group’s growth and expansion strategy, which in recent years has seen the opening of Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital in Riyadh and Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital in Madinah, alongside the continuous development of medical services and key achievements at Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital in Jeddah.
Dr. Mohammad Al Fagih Hospital adds an integrated healthcare facility to the Group’s network, featuring a capacity of approximately 350 beds, over 12 operating rooms, and an independent outpatient building housing 192 clinics across various medical specialties. This is in addition to surgical departments, intensive care, emergency services, and specialized centers for obstetrics and gynecology, cardiology and vascular diseases, and orthopedics.
With the completion of this acquisition, Fakeeh Care Group’s total bed capacity across the Kingdom has increased to 1,185 beds, while its bed capacity in Riyadh has risen to approximately 535 beds. This enhances the Group’s ability to meet the growing demand for healthcare services in the capital and broadens the scope of its integrated medical offerings.
Furthermore, the hospital benefits from an extensive insurance coverage network, which strengthens the Group’s reach to a larger segment of beneficiaries and expands its service scope to cover diverse patient categories, supporting its strategy to provide advanced, high-quality healthcare services to all members of society.
On this occasion, Dr. Mazen Fakeeh, Chairman of Fakeeh Care Group, stated:
“This acquisition marks a new strategic milestone in the Group’s growth journey and reflects our commitment to continuously investing in the development of the Kingdom’s healthcare system. We look forward to leveraging the exceptional capabilities of Dr. Mohammad Al Fagih Hospital to enhance service integration, broaden our patient reach, and deliver comprehensive healthcare adhering to the highest quality standards, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.”
The integration of the hospital into the Fakeeh Care Group ecosystem is expected to achieve operational synergies across its facilities, improve service efficiency, and maximize the utilization of medical expertise and modern technologies—positively impacting the overall quality of care and patient experience.
This acquisition underscores Fakeeh Care Group’s commitment to investing in the Saudi healthcare sector by expanding its service offerings, increasing operational capacity, and elevating its healthcare delivery framework to meet growing market demand and contribute to Saudi Vision 2030 goals of improving healthcare quality, increasing private sector participation, and enhancing the patient journey.
