NEW YORK — Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has said an artificial intelligence agent developed by OpenAI infiltrated government website in June and the tech giant notified Canberra of the breach earlier this month via email. In comments made at the UN summit in New York on Wednesday, Albanese said the agent hacked a statistics portal containing “non-sensitive” data from Medicare, Australia’s universal healthcare scheme , adding that it appeared no personal information had been accessed.
