A controversial study analysing excess deaths during the Covid pandemic, which was widely criticised for lending credence to vaccine scepticism, has been retracted, the British journal’s publisher announced Wednesday. RIYADH — The value of weekly sales through point-of-sale (POS) transactions, from August 2 to 8, reached SR14.6 billion, compared to SR16.31 billion in the previous week, according to the weekly report issued on Wednesday by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).
