DOHA, 3rd June, 2026 (WAM) — The Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation has set 9th September 2026 as the date for the draw of the third edition of the Gulf Club Champions League, which will run from 13th October 2026 to 30th April 2027. The federation said it had approved an expansion of the tournament from eight to 12 clubs for the 2026-27 edition. A young Indian man was allegedly stabbed to death in what is believed to have been a dispute over a social media video. Sharjah Police confirmed to Khaleej Times that the incident is under investigation and more information will be released soon. The 40-year-old Indian man has been identified, but Khaleej Times is withholding his identity at this stage. NEW DELHI — At least 21 people were killed and several others injured after a fire tore through a multi-story building in New Delhi on Wednesday, in one of the worst such incidents in the national capital in recent years.
