BEIRUT— Lebanon’s President Gen. Joseph Aoun received Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Waleed Bukhari at Baabda Palace to mark the conclusion of his diplomatic tenure in the country. President Aoun decorated Bukhari with the National Order of the Cedar, commending his role in strengthening and developing relations between the two countries across various fields. A driver was rescued in less than eight minutes after his car plunged into Sharjah Creek opposite the Court House on Thursday morning, in a swift operation by Sharjah Civil Defence marine rescue teams.
