WASHINGTON — The US Supreme Court has allowed President Donald Trump’s administration to continue third-country deportations, suspending a lower-court ruling that paused such removals over failure to follow due process. On Tuesday, the conservative-dominated high court granted the administration’s emergency request to resume the so-called “third-country removals”, which involve deporting immigrants to countries they may have no connection to. The lower court had said that people targeted with deportation must be given effective notice ahead of time about where they are being sent to allow them to raise concerns about potential persecution. Brent crude futures rose US$1.14, or 1.11 percent, to US$103.73 a barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude rose 34 cents, or 0.38 percent, to US$89.72. Brent is headed for a monthly gain of around 14 percent, its biggest climb since July, while WTI is on track for a 4 percent rise after having breached US$106 for the first time since May. RIYADH — The Saudi Ministry of Commerce detected foreign workers who had left their sponsors without authorization and were establishing and operating online stores for their own benefit after receiving training at an unauthorized facility in Riyadh.
