ADEN — Yemeni government forces said Friday they had struck Houthi positions and supply lines in the southwestern province of Taiz amid renewed fighting in the country. Military spokesman Majid Abdullah Al-Nazili published footage on X that he said showed strikes targeting Houthi fighters and supply routes in Dhubab and other areas of Taiz province. Dhubab is a coastal town in the Bab Al-Mandab district overlooking the Red Sea near the northern entrance to the strategic strait. KYIV — Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy imposed sanctions Saturday on 44 individuals whom Kyiv says were involved in Russia’s State Duma elections held in areas of Ukraine under Russian control.
