MADINAH — Emir of Madinah and Chairman of the Permanent Hajj and Umrah Committee in the region Prince Salman bin Sultan affirmed that Saudi Arabia has dedicated all its resources to serving pilgrims and enabling them to perform their rituals with ease and tranquility, in line with its longstanding commitment to caring for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims and visitors.

He made the remarks during his inspection tour of the Pilgrims’ Welcome and Reception Center on Hijrah Road in Madinah on Monday. He was accompanied by Deputy Emir Prince Saud bin Nahar and several senior officials.

Prince Salman noted that the continuous development of the Hajj and Umrah ecosystem is the result of the generous support and ongoing directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman. He emphasized their commitment to enhancing the services provided to pilgrims, facilitating their journey from arrival to departure, and reflecting the Kingdom’s care for visitors to the Two Holy Mosques.

During the tour, the Emir reviewed the center’s readiness and the services provided to pilgrims arriving in Madinah via Hijrah Road, including procedures for completing arrivals and facilitating smooth transportation to their accommodations.

The visit forms part of the Emir’s ongoing field inspections to monitor services provided to pilgrims and assess the readiness and quality of services offered by relevant entities, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Pilgrim Experience Program.
