ARAR — Minister of Hajj and Umrah Tawfiq Al-Rabiah toured Al-Haditha and Jadidat Arar border crossings to review workflow and preparations for receiving and serving pilgrims arriving to perform Hajj. The minister was accompanied by President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, Governor of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) Suhail Abanmi and Acting Director General of Passports Saleh Al-Murabba during the tour.

The minister and the high ranking officials assessed operational readiness and services provided at both crossings, reviewed procedures for receiving pilgrims, and evaluated the smooth flow of movement to ensure efficient, high-quality services that facilitate pilgrims’ journey from the moment they arrive at the Kingdom’s entry points.

They also reviewed available capabilities and facilities, as well as coordination mechanisms among government entities operating at the crossings, reflecting integrated efforts and supporting enhanced readiness during the Hajj season.
These visits are part of field follow-up on efforts at land ports and reflect the commitment of relevant government entities to enhance preparedness and provide seamless services to pilgrims, in line with the Kingdom’s care for those performing Hajj and its dedication to facilitating their rituals in ease and comfort.

During his visit to Jadidat Arar border crossing in the Northern Borders Region, Tawfiq Al-Rabiah checked on the ongoing preparations to receive pilgrims arriving to perform Hajj.
He appreciated the keenness of Emir of Northern Borders Region Prince Faisal bin Khalid on enhancing the readiness of border crossings in the region to receive pilgrims. He praised the integration of efforts by all government entities to provide services that facilitate arrival procedures and enhance the quality of reception.
During the visit, the minister reviewed the pilgrim journey through the crossing, starting from entry procedures, passing through reception and guidance services, and ending with the organization of transportation movement, ensuring smooth procedures and swift completion, reflecting the level of care provided to pilgrims from the moment of their arrival.
Al-Rabiah stressed that preparations to receive pilgrims at Jadidat Arar Border Crossing come within an integrated ecosystem aimed at facilitating the pilgrim journey from arrival through coordination among relevant entities, the use of technological solutions, and improving field performance efficiency, enabling pilgrims to perform their rituals with ease and tranquility.
