RIYADH — The Saudi Ministry of Interior emphasized that expatriates, who overstay their visas, will face a maximum jail term of six months, a fine of SR50,000, in addition to their deportation.
The ministry urged all individuals to comply with the regulations governing the 2026 Hajj season and to cooperate with the relevant authorities to ensure the safety and security of pilgrims. Violators will be subject to legal penalties.
The ministry also called for reporting violations by dialing 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and 999 in the rest of the Kingdom.
