    Madinah meeting discusses delivering optimal services to Prophet’s Mosque visitors during Hajj season

    MADINAH — Emir of Madinah and Chairman of the Permanent Hajj and Umrah Committee in Madinah Prince Salman bin Sultan chaired a meeting of the committee, attended by representatives from relevant government entities. The meeting adopted recommendations to support the efforts of all relevant agencies, ensuring the delivery of optimal services to visitors of the Prophet’s Mosque during the Hajj season.

    Addressing the meeting, Prince Salman congratulated all entities on the successful completion of the Umrah and Ziyarah season during Ramadan, praising their efforts in implementing operational plans that enabled visitors to perform their rituals in a calm and tranquil environment.

    He noted that these achievements reflect the exceptional care and continuous support provided by the Kingdom’s leadership for the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors, highlighting the dedication of all resources to serving guests.

    Prince Salman also commended the minister of interior’s oversight and support in enhancing service delivery to ensure that visitors can perform their religious duties in ease and comfort.

    The Emir stressed the importance of full readiness by all governmental, service, and volunteer bodies ahead of the upcoming Hajj season. He called for the activation of preemptive plans and enhanced coordination to strengthen the facilities and services ecosystem, in line with the high level of care the state provides to pilgrims.

    The meeting reviewed preparations and arrangements for the Hajj of 2026 including the plan of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah’s Agency for Visit Affairs, as well as arrangements by the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, the Madinah Mayoralty, the Ministry of Health branch, and the Pilgrim Experience Program.
