RIYADH — Saudi Arabia strongly condemned Iran’s attacks targeting vital facilities in Kuwait, describing them as a blatant violation of international law and the country’s sovereignty.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced in the strongest terms the criminal attacks carried out by Iran, its proxies, and affiliated groups.

The Kingdom stressed its firm rejection of such actions, saying they represent a “flagrant violation” of international law and the UN Charter, and undermine efforts to restore security and stability in the region.

Saudi Arabia called on Iran and its proxies to halt all hostile activities against Arab and Islamic countries and to comply with UN Security Council Resolution 2817 of 2026.

The Kingdom also expressed full solidarity with Kuwait, reaffirming its support for all measures taken by the country to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and stability.
