    Saudi Arabia condemns terrorist attack in Balochistan

    RIYADH — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Saudi Arabia’s condemnation of the heinous terrorist attack targeting a train in Balochistan Province of Pakistan.

    In a statement, the ministry said that Saudi Arabia reiterates its complete rejection of all forms of terrorism and extremism and strongly condemns attempts to undermine the security and stability of Pakistan and its people.

    The ministry expressed sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, as well as to the government and people of Pakistan, and wished security and safety for all.

    A bomb attack targeted a train carrying military personnel and their families from Quetta to Peshawar on the outskirts of Quetta Cantonment on Sunday.The bombing resulted in at least 24 fatalities and dozens of injuries. Responsibility for the blast was claimed by the separatist militant group Baloch Liberation Army (BLA).
