The UAE’s health and emergency authorities have confirmed the country’s readiness to respond to any emerging public health developments, including concerns related to the Hantavirus, while stressing that no cause for alarm currently exists.
In a joint statement, the UAE’s National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) and the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) said the national monitoring and response system remains fully prepared to deal with potential health threats through proactive surveillance and rapid response mechanisms, reports Emarat Al Youm.
