GAZA — A delegation from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has praised the humanitarian projects implemented by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) in the Gaza Strip.

The OCHA delegation conducted a field visit to the Gaza Strip to observe the center’s relief interventions and response mechanisms in support of the Palestinian people.

The delegation commended the scale and diversity of the field assistance provided by the KSrelief, as well as its role in alleviating the suffering of the population and supporting the most vulnerable groups. They also praised the level of organization and response efficiency in terms of delivering relief operations amid the escalating humanitarian conditions in the enclave.

The delegation began its tour with a visit to KSrelief’s central kitchen, which provides hot meals daily to families in displacement camps. The facility produces around 25,000 meals per day as part of a continuous operational system aimed at strengthening food security and easing the living burdens of affected families.

The delegation observed the kitchen’s operations, including meal preparation, packaging, transportation, and distribution, as well as the efforts of field teams working with the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage, KSrelief’s implementing partner in Gaza.

The tour also included visits to food basket distribution points. The delegation followed field distribution operations targeting the most vulnerable families under a relief program aimed at expanding the scope of beneficiaries and reaching various areas across the strip.
